The European Commission has published the list of funded projects awarded under the Teaming for Excellence and Excellence Hubs 2022 calls. The 25 new projects are worth €235 million and will begin their activities in 2023.
Of the 116 applications that were submitted to stage 1 of the 2022 Teaming for Excellence call, 31 continued to stage two. In total 12 projects were selected for funding. The funded projects will help to create new or modernise existing centres of excellence in Widening countries through strategic partnerships.
The Excellence Hubs call aims to strengthen regional innovation excellence, by creating robust collaborations between academia, businesses, governments, and civil society. The call was launched in 2022, and 13 projects, including 3 from the reserve list, were funded.
