Introduction
The UK is a Full Member of COST. COST is a funding organisation that aims to support researchers, in any sector and at all career stages, to grow their professional research networks and boost their careers. COST Actions are open to all science and technology fields, including new and emerging fields and help to connect research initiatives across Europe and beyond. They are also open to businesses and other organisations. UK entities may participate in or lead COST Actions. COST does not fund research but supports the networking activities, meetings, dissemination and training missions that are the catalyst for ground-breaking research networks.
Aim of the event
The webinar will provide attendees with an overview of COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) including the benefits of participating, and key information on how to apply. We will also hear first hand experiences of UK researchers already involved in the leadership of COST Actions.
Who should attend?
Anyone interested in applying to COST from the UK including academics, companies and other organisations.
