The UK Research Office (UKRO), in its capacity as UK National Contact Point for the Horizon Europe Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA), held a series of information webinars for organisations and individuals interested in applying to the 2023 MSCA Doctoral Networks Call (proposed call opening date 30 May 2023; proposed call deadline 28 November 2023).
The MSCA Doctoral Networks Call
Doctoral Networks provide funding to a consortium of universities, research institutions, research infrastructures, businesses including SMEs, and other socio-economic actors to develop a doctoral programme in a research and innovation area. The consortium is free to identify the area in which the research and training programme is needed and can include partners from all over the world.
Doctoral Networks sets out to develop entrepreneurial, innovative doctoral candidates, by equipping the researchers with the right combination of research-related and transferable competencies. The Doctoral Network ultimately aims to enhance the recruited researchers’ long-term career perspectives, both within and outside academia.
