Details

Gender equality is a core policy objective for all EU activities and the European Commission is fully committed to promoting gender equality in research and innovation. Horizon 2020 was the first framework programme to set gender as a cross-cutting issue. Building on the achievements of Horizon 2020, Horizon Europe aims to eliminate gender inequalities and intersecting socioeconomic inequalities, including those based on disability, ethnicity, and LGBTIQ, throughout research and innovation systems.
