The European Commission’s Directorate General for Research and Innovation (DG RTD) has commissioned a study that aims to:
- support the assessment of EU Missions
- review of Mission areas
- analysis of EU Missions’ portfolio of instruments and actions
UKRO subscribers may wish to feed in and influence the study via an open questionnaire. Filling out the questionnaire will take approximately 15 minutes per mission. Users can pause the questionnaire and continue at a later time.
The questionnaire is the main element of the overall study. It contributes to the collection of insights regarding the Missions’ selection process, their governance, budget, instruments and actions, as well as their focus and progress to date. Ultimately, the study seeks to identify what has worked well and less well, draw lessons and make suggestions for improvement in the short and longer-term of EU Missions’ implementation. The questionnaire webpage provides more details and instructions on how to respond.
The overall study is being coordinated by EFIS Centre, together with Utrecht University, Visionary Analytics and KMU Forschung Austria and Claire Nauwelaers. The study group has published the letter of support they received from DG RTD.
