Statistical Analysis of the MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships 2022 Call Available

MSCA-NET, a network of National Contact Points (NCPs) for the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA), has prepared a statistical analysis of the results of the MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships (PF) 2022 call. The intention is to give potential applicants for the upcoming MSCA PF 2023 call an overview of the application statistics of the previous call. The data presented in this document relates to:

  • The number of submitted/funded/reserved eligible proposals;
  • Cut-off scores for each panel;
  • The success rate for each panel;
  • Type of organisations for applicants;
  • SME participation in numbers;
  • Gender of coordinators and researchers in numbers;
  • Number of experts and type of their institutions;
  • Submitted proposals for EU Member States and Horizon Europe Associated Countries; and
  • Main list and cut-off scores for ERA proposals.

The MSCA-NET project previously provided an analysis of the MSCA PF 2021 call to support applicants, as reported by UKRO.

Further support for MSCA PF applicants

UKRO has recently held a series of webinars on all aspects related to applying to the 2023 MSCA PF call (see the ‘Related Content’ section). This event series had the goal of providing potential applicants with the information necessary to understand the nature of the call, and to submit a successful application.

The MSCA-NET project has also published an ‘unofficial’ handbook for applicants, as previously reported by UKRO.

Please contact the UK MSCA National Contact Point at mariecurie-uk@ukro.ac.uk in case of questions.
