The V4 R&I liaison offices in Brussels (CZELO, NRDIO, SLORD and PolSCA PAS) are organising a new edition of the “Training for Research Project Managers“.
The training will take place in Brussels from 28 to 30 April 2024, accommodating approximately 35 participants: 28 research administrators from R&I in Czechia, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia, and 7-10 participants from other EU or Horizon Europe Associated Countries gathered within the IGLO network. Past editions featured participants from countries like Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Ireland, Lithuania, Netherlands, Austria, Slovenia and Ukraine, fostering a diverse and dynamic learning environment.
This training is specifically designed for research project managers (RPMs), including R&I support personnel such as project managers, coordinators, support officers, etc. The 3-day training (2 full days and 1 half-day) will include interactive workshops, presentations, and networking opportunities to exchange experiences and best practices. While it will not focus on teaching basic Horizon Europe concepts or proposal writing, it will enhance participants’ soft skills and provide opportunities for collaboration on potential widening proposals. Active participation throughout the program is required.
Participation is free of charge; however, travel and accommodation costs must be covered by the sending institution/participant. The training begins on Monday 28 April at 11:00, allowing participants to arrive on the same day, and concludes on Wednesday 30 April at 13:30. Participants may also join an optional session on the PM² methodology from 13:30 to 16:00 on the 3rd day of training (TBC – depending on the registration).
