New UKRO Portal – Thank You to All Our Users

We are now almost one month on from launching our new UKRO Portal. We wanted to thank our users for their patience during this transitional time when we changed the major platform on which most of our subscriber resources are available.

Looking back on the last month, there have been a number of challenges – not least the portal being unavailable for short periods early on in the process – and while we are working with central UKRI teams on resolving any arising issues in as timely a way possible, we are aware that there may sometimes be an impact on our subscribers.

We also note that for most of our existing users, you are unable to change your password from the auto-generated one that was created when the accounts were transferred.  We are working with our service providers to see whether we can offer this anytime soon – please accept our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience caused.

We are not yet conducting formal user-experience research, however, we welcome any comments and feedback to the ukro@ukro.ac.uk inbox should users wish to raise anything or report back. In particular, we know that some of our resources (especially articles) might not have migrated across – if you notice anything missing, please let us know.

Finally, thank you to all our subscribers who use our services and resources, and thank you for your patience with the new UKRO Portal.
