JPIAMR: ‘AMR Interventions’ Call Pre-Announcement

The Joint Programming Initiative on Antimicrobial Resistance (JPIAMR) has pre-announced a joint transnational call for research projects entitled ‘Interventions moving forward to promote action to counteract the emergence and spread of bacterial and fungal resistance and to improve treatments‘.

The call intends to create and reinforce the collaboration between research partners coming from different countries and different fields of expertise to promote interventional research on antimicrobial resistance.

21 agencies and organisations from 19 JPIAMR member countries are expcted to participate in this call. The total estimated budget is over €19 million. UK participants will be eligible to apply for funding from UKRI.

This two-stage competition is intended to open on 10 January 2024, when detailed information and call documentation will also be made available. The deadline for the pre-proposals will be on 14  March and for the full proposals on 9 July 2024.

The JPIAMR team will hold a webinar for prospective applicants on 24 January 2024. The partner search tool will be made available once the call is open.
