The UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) Horizon Europe Guarantee Team is delighted to announce that registration has been extended until 11 March 2026 for the upcoming Horizon Europe Guarantee – Strengthening the Early Career Researcher Pathway event.
This dedicated, one-day gathering is designed exclusively for Early Career Researchers (ECRs). If you are part of this research community, this is your opportunity to connect, celebrate, and plan your next career steps.
The event will be taking place on Monday, 23 March 2026, at The Royal Society in London. The aim of this event is to bring together researchers from across the UK who are progressing their work under the Horizon Europe Guarantee.
The programme is designed to support and strengthen early career pathways by offering:
- Networking opportunities with fellow Guarantee researchers, building lasting professional connections across disciplines and institutions
- A celebration of achievements, highlighting the collective success and impact of early career researchers across the UK
- Insights from independent researchers, sharing lived experiences, practical advice, and lessons learned
- Guidance on UKRI opportunities, helping ECRs navigate future career pathways and strategically plan their next steps
This event is not only a platform to showcase excellence but also a space to reflect, collaborate, and build confidence for the next stage of your research journey.
To ensure that attendance is accessible. Travel expenses incurred to attend are eligible costs under your Guarantee grant.
