The University of the West of England in Bristol (UWE Bristol) is seeking a talented Bid Developer and Writer who will be responsible for identifying and supporting the development and submission of EU funding applications. The Bid Developer and Writer will join a vibrant Research and Knowledge Exchange team within UWE Bristol’s Research Business and Innovation service (RBI).
The role holder will be responsible for identifying and supporting the development and submission of EU funding applications (primarily Horizon Europe) across all disciplines and hold specialist knowledge about EU funding opportunities. They will champion interdisciplinary working, and also support bidding for interdisciplinary funding programmes. The role holder will work closely with academics and stakeholders to support the development and submission of EU and interdisciplinary grant applications – supporting the growth of impactful, inclusive, and engaged research at UWE Bristol. They will provide University-wide specialist expertise in EU and interdisciplinary funding opportunities.
