About the role
A unique opportunity to be an integral member of the International Pre-Award Team has come up at King’s College London. We are looking for an individual who can provide an efficient and effective pre-contractual service for staff based across all of King’s College London who are engaged in research, with expertise in five key areas:
- Knowledge of research funding streams from international sources such as European Commission, US Government, and overseas research councils.
- Supporting the costing and budgeting of projects using the Worktribe grant management system with particular attention to King’s led projects and an emphasis on preparing and submitting official costs on behalf of the College. Approval and submission of research grant applications.
- Negotiating contractual conditions and contributing towards the formulation of policy on research matters and also developing (or continuing to develop) their own expertise in research funding and follow through to award set-up stage
- Maintenance of internal data gathering systems and communication campaigns
- Promotion of international research funding schemes across the College
