Innovate UK is recruiting a new National Contact Point (NCP) for Horizon Europe Health (Cluster 1), offering an exciting opportunity to play a leading role in supporting UK organisations to access European research and innovation funding.
The successful candidate will be working alongside the existing MRC (Medical Research Council) and IUK (Innovate UK) Horizon Europe Health NCPs to support all types of UK organisation access the Horizon Europe Health Cluster, Health Partnerships and Cancer Mission.
They will join the UK National Contact Point network, providing expert guidance to researchers, businesses, universities, NHS organisations and other stakeholders seeking to participate in Horizon Europe Cluster 1 – Health.
The role is central to helping UK applicants identify funding opportunities, build international partnerships and develop competitive proposals.
As the UK NCP for Health, the post holder will:
- Provide expert advice and support on Horizon Europe Health funding opportunities.
- Deliver presentations, webinars and events to promote participation.
- Develop guidance materials and communications for UK applicants.
- Represent the UK at European Commission Programme Committee meetings and engage with NCP counterparts across Europe.
- Build relationships with stakeholders across the UK research and innovation ecosystem to maximise UK participation and success in Horizon Europe.
The role is field-based, offered on a fixed-term contract until 14 July 2027, with a salary of £58,589 per annum. Applications close at 23:59 on 21 July 2026.
