ESFRI has published a report on Access to Research Infrastructures in an effort of identify challenges to broader access to Research Infrastructures (RIs) for scientific and societal challenges.
The report, based on a set of surveys prepared by the ESFRI Drafting Group on Access, revealed a wide range of access types and service types, often depending on the domain and RI nature.
Among the barriers identified to broader access, several legal, institutional, and financial aspects were raised as well as technical aspects.
The results are detailed in the ESFRI report on Access to Research Infrastructures and Charter on Access to RIs, with preliminary recommendations to address access challenges and revise the European Charter of Access to Research Infrastructures.
