NEB Festival 2026 – host a NEB Festival Satellite event anywhere!
One call for applications currently remains open:
- Satellite events – proposals are invited for initiatives organised independently in Brussels and beyond, aligned with NEB values. Deadline: 31 December 2025.
- Results are expected 31 January 2026.
NEB Satellite events provide an opportunity for changemakers to promote their NEB-aligned activities, increase their international exposure, and seek partnership opportunities with like-minded organisations.
Proposals for events should:
- promote the values of NEB: sustainability; aesthetics and inclusion as well as the development of beautiful and sustainable spaces and ways of living together.
- embody at least one of the NEB principles of multilevel engagement, transdisciplinary approaches or participatory processes.
- relate to at least one of the NEB axes of reconnecting with nature, regaining a sense of belonging, prioritising the people and places that need it the most, fostering long-term life cycle and integrated thinking in the industrial ecosystem.
- align with either the NEB FAIR, FEST or Festival in terms of modalities e.g. a fireside chat, keynote speech, panel debate or hybrid/online options are all possible.
Proposals will not be ranked as this opportunity does not come with funding. However, there is a minimum threshold for proposals to be approved by the European Commission.
