New Opportunities for Research Funding Agency Co-operation in Europe (NORFACE), in collaboration with CHANSE (Collaboration of Humanities and Social Sciences in Europe), have launched a new call under the theme of “Enhancing well-being for the future”.
The call is jointly funded by national/regional funding organisations from 18 countries, including the Economic and Social Research Council (UKRI, ESRC) in the UK. The total budget for the call is up to €16 million. Outline Proposals must be submitted electronically via the CHANSE system by 21 September 2023. The full proposal deadline is 26 March 2024.
The goal of the call is to fund innovative international social science research addressing one or more of the call themes:
- Crises, challenges, and well-being.
- Environmental challenges and well-being.
- Well-being and mental health.
- Well-being, economy, and politics.
Eligible consortia must be composed of a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 6 Principal Investigators, i.e. researchers eligible to receive funding from the Crisis call funding organisations from 4 or more different countries participating in the call. Each applicant must fulfil the conditions of their national/regional funders, as described in the call document.
