The EIT AI & Robotics Community has recently launched its new initiative called the ‘AI Entrepreneurs Lab’ which is a five-day bootcamp for aspiring applied AI and robotics founders, designed to help technical talent move from research to entrepreneurship.
This call is open to master’s and PhD students, graduates and early-stage founders with an AI or robotics idea at the core of their proposed venture. Up to 15 participants may take part, either individually or as a team of two (in personal capacity only).
Applicants should demonstrate a clear problem, a credible technical approach and a plausible path to market, and submit an application form, CV(s) and a short pitch.
During five in-person days in Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam, from 9 to 13 November 2026, the participants will work with experienced founders on customer discovery, business model testing and pitch development, while receiving feedback from industry and introductions to investors.
Selected participants may receive travel and accommodation support. Furthermore, up to five prizes of €10 000 will be awarded at Demo Day in Amsterdam.
Applications are open until 21 October 2026 (16:00 UK time).
Who can apply?
Master’s and PhD students and graduates with a strong AI or robotics idea, applying as an individual or a team of up to two, in a personal capacity. You must be resident or established in an eligible country (including the UK).
Do I need a company already?
No. You can apply with an early idea or a recently incorporated startup at pre-launch stage. What matters is that AI or robotics is central to the concept and that you can show a real problem and a credible path to market.
What does it cost?
Nothing to apply. Travel and accommodation support for the top 15 applicants may be provided, subject to programme rules and budget availability.
What’s the €10,000 prize for?
It funds concrete next steps for your venture. Up to five teams win at Demo Day, judged on evidence and progress. For winners only, the Award may be linked to a sub-1% future-equity mechanism.
Where can I find more information?
