The European Innovation Council (EIC) has launched its new “Tech to Market” programmes to help innovators take their results from EIC Pathfinder and Transition projects from the lab to markets.
EIC Tech to Market Entrepreneurship
EIC Tech to Market Entrepreneurship focuses on boosting the entrepreneurial aspirations of innovative deep-tech researchers supported by the EIC Pathfinder and the EIC Transition. It provides a continuous and complete offer designed to help people throughout the journey, leading toward the maturation of their entrepreneurial project.
The training and support offer is conceived in a modular way, going from the fundamentals of deep-tech entrepreneurship, illustrated through the personal stories of successful founders, to market and investor readiness where the solutions and business ideas are challenged by experienced mentors, investors and market representatives.
EIC Tech to Market Venture Building
With the EIC Tech to Market Venture Building Programme, the EIC aims to help build start-ups to exploit promising research results through venture-building services, comprising a range of activities from the identification of promising business ideas to venture creation and development.
The EIC Tech to Market Venture Building Programme will onboard EIC beneficiary organisations (from EIC Pathfinder and EIC Transition) and take them on a journey that will comprise four main phases:
- Exploration & validation
- Feasibility assessment
- Team creation
- Venture support services.
There will also be the option to use specific parts of these services on demand, through EIC proactive management.
EIC information session
On 15 March 2023, the EIC will host an online info session to introduce the most important aspects of the EIC Tech to Market Programmes and announce their first activities.
Participation in this event is free of charge, but prior registration (by 10 March) is necessary. Further information, including the agenda and link to registration, is available on the event page.
