The Alliance for Research on Cultural Heritage in Europe project (ARCHE), which is a Horizon-funded network of researchers, innovators, heritage professionals, institutional bodies and citizens, has launched an open consultation on their vision for the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA).
The new agenda will be the master-plan for future research and innovation activities on cultural heritage in Europe, including joint calls. It takes over from the Joint Programming Initiative on Cultural Heritage 2020 SRIA (JPICH) and will help shape a new Horizon European Partnership for Resilient Cultural Heritage.
Responses can be submitted via an online survey until 5 February.
The Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) has been involved in the JPICH from the beginning, currently as co-chair, and now plays a central role in ARCHE. More information is available in a dedicated UKRI article.
The ARCHE SRIA is being developed through a co-creation process engaging with a range of cultural heritage and research and innovation actors in Europe and beyond. The ARCHE Stakeholders’ Forum is open to all: research and academic communities, policymakers, NGOs, EU/international initiatives, communities of practice, Cultural and Creative Sector professionals, Cultural Heritage professionals, innovators, and funding agencies.
