UKRO is pleased to inform subscribers that work on our new secure and more user-friendly UKRO Portal has been progressing well over the last few months and that the new service will be officially launched on Tuesday 28 March.
What will change in the new UKRO Portal?
The new Portal will effectively combine the existing UKRO resources such as articles, webinar recordings and factsheets – already available to subscribers on the current Portal – with new functionalities and visually attractive content. Accessing these and other resources will be easier, as it will now take into account a typical user journey based on feedback provided by subscribers. The new Portal will also fully integrate UKRO’s new visual identity, which subscribers might have already spotted in our presentation slides and factsheets.
UKRO would like to thank all Portal users who volunteered to help design and test the new Portal to make it more user-friendly and relevant for our subscribers.
What do I need to do to prepare for the launch?
Already registered users are not required to do anything at this stage. The switch to the new website will happen overnight and existing accounts will be automatically transferred to the new UKRO Portal. Once the new Portal is launched, you will be requested to review your personal details, change your password and update your mailing preferences.
We do anticipate heavier-than-usual traffic on Tuesday morning, which means that the Portal may be inaccessible for a short period. If this happens, we encourage subscribers to view the Portal again after some time.
