The European Innovation Council (EIC) has now published the results of the September 2022 EIC Transition cut-off.
From 181 eligible submissions, 34 projects were ultimately selected. Each will receive each up to €2.5 million, with the total EU funding expected to amount to â¬79.3 million.
This latest iteration of the EIC transition call provided targeted funding for clean energy, green digital devices and RNA-based therapies and diagnostics for complex or rare genetic diseases technologies. It also included open funding for any area of technology.
The 34 selected projects will be funded under the following funding streams:
- Open funding – 27
- “Green digital devices for the future” challenge – 2
- “RNA-based therapies and diagnostics for complex or rare genetic diseases” challenge – 2
- “Process and system integration of clean energy technologies” challenge – 1
