Results of the MSCA Staff Exchanges 2022 Call Announced

The European Commission has announced the results of its Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Staff Exchanges 2022 call.

Of the 196 submitted proposals, 73 projects with a total of €77.5 million have been funded. The selected projects will enable researchers as well as administrative, technical, or managerial staff involved in research activities to go abroad and enlarge their networks, share knowledge, and carry out cutting-edge research.

The awarded projects will be undertaken by international partnerships involving more than 656 organisations from 76 countries in the EU, as well as countries associated to Horizon Europe and beyond. The organisations include 160 companies and 104 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The projects cover a range of disciplines including:

  • Engineering and ICT (34%)
  • Chemistry (16%)
  • Social sciences and humanities (15%)
  • Environment and geosciences (11%)
  • Life sciences (10%)
  • Physics (8%)
  • Mathematics (3%)
  • Economics (3%)

The awarded projects are coordinated by organisations from 23 countries with Spain receiving the most projects with 13, followed by Italy with 10. The UK, Greece and Portugal each received seven projects ahead of France with five. Overall, the UK is involved in 55 of the awarded projects.
