The European Commission has announced the submission rates for the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Doctoral Networks (DN) 2023 call, which closed on 28 November 2023.
The European Research Executive Agency (REA) received 1066 proposals, which is an increase compared to the 946 applications received in the previous call.
Proposals were submitted to the different MSCA DN schemes as follows:
- Standard Doctoral Networks: 920 proposals
- Industrial Doctorates: 64 proposals
- Joint Doctorates: 82 proposals
The overall budget for the MSCA DN 2023 call is €434.8 million and over 150 projects are expected to be funded.
The evaluation proccess will start in early December 2023 and the selection results are expected to be announced in April 2024.
