The European Commission (EC) has published the results of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) COFUND 2022 call.
107 applications were received as part of this call. From these applications, the EC will fund 30 MSCA COFUND projects: 16 doctoral training and 14 postdoctoral fellowship programmes. This corresponds to a total funding of €95 million, and a success rate of 28.6%.
Over 511 organisations in 39 countries are involved in these 30 COFUND projects. This includes 141 companies and 74 small and medium-sized enterprises.
The project coordinators are based in 11 countries, with the highest number in Spain (8 organisations) and France (5 organisations).
UK entities are involved in 114 evaluated proposals as a partner. Of these , 21 projects are on the main list (funded) and 11 projects are on the reserve list.
The grant agreements will need to be signed within 8 months of the call deadline. Hence, the first projects will start at the earliest in late summer this year.
