The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Staff Exchanges (SE) 2023 call closed on 28 February 2024.
The Research Executive Agency (REA) has since announced that it received 233 proposals under this call, requesting a total budget in excess of €252 million. The proposals were submitted from 1,844 different organisations located in 121 countries, out of which 39% are non-academic organisations.
The European Union is expected to fund between 70 and 90 projects with an indicative budget of €78.5 million. The call will fund collaborative research projects and support ground-breaking research through international and inter-sectoral staff exchanges.
REA states that applicants will be notified of the call results in June 2024. Grant agreements of successful projects are expected to be signed by November 2024, ready for projects to commence in January 2025.
The next MSCA Staff Exchanges call is due to launch in Autumn 2024.
