UKRO is delighted to announce that its ‘New ELO’ training session will take place on 20-21 April 2023 in Brussels, Belgium. The date has been altered based on feedback from the community and to avoid clashes with other key events.
As previously reported, the training is aimed at any member of staff who is recently employed in their role as a European Liaison Officer in a subscribing organisation but will also be relevant to support staff who require an introduction to the ‘Brussels landscape’ and Horizon Europe. This session is targeted at those with a limited understanding of EU R&I policy and whilst there is no limit to the number of participants per subscribing institute, UKRO retains the right to prioritise UK-based organisations.
The event will commence in the afternoon of the 20 April and finish by lunchtime the following day to allow for travel. No travel, accommodation or subsistence costs will be reimbursed by UKRO.

Please note that the session is subject to a minimum level of attendance and final confirmation (to facilitate travel booking etc.) will be provided in the week commencing 20 March.
