Aim of the event
This webinar was an opportunity for subscribers to learn more about EU Missions in Horizon Europe with a particular focus on the state of play at the time when the first Missions calls are expected to be published and practical advice on how subscribers can get involved with this novel form of funding opportunity.
We were pleased to be joined by our guest speaker Professor Bridget Emmett, Science Area Head at UK Centre for Ecology and Hydrology and Board Member for the EU Soil Mission.
Programme outline
The session covered the following points:
- what is new about EU Missions and differences in their evaluation process
- the guest speaker will share their experience as a Mission board member, the process of establishing an EU mission and their advice on how to engage with EU Missions
- practical guidance on the Missions calls in the 2021/2022 Pillar 2 Work Programmes
