The European Commission’s Directorate-General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture (DG EAC) and the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC) are jointly holding a virtual Science and Policy Matchmaking Event on 20 June 2023 (8.30-12.00 pm UK time).
This event will provide a unique opportunity for Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) applicants and policymakers to discuss opportunities for placements and/or secondments in the public and policy sector for MSCA-funded researchers.
This event is relevant for:
- Potential applicants for the 2023 MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships Call who are looking for a secondment and/or non-academic placement host;
- Potential project coordinators and/or beneficiaries in MSCA consortia in the upcoming MSCA Calls: the 2023 MSCA Staff Exchanges Call, the 2023 MSCA Doctoral Networks Call, and the 2023 MSCA COFUND Call, who are looking for hosting partners in the public sector;
- Current MSCA fellows considering career opportunities in public administrations;
- Policy organisations which are interested to host researchers for a short stay.
