Aim of the event
This full day in-person event will provide an energising and insightful opportunity for colleagues across the North and Scottish Regions, offering a mix of expert presentations from UK NCPs and Guest Speakers, expert teach-in sessions and time to network with peers working in similar roles within the Horizon Europe landscape.
The registration deadline is 9 January 2026. Participation is free of charge. Please note: the survey may close earlier.
Through the day, you can expect updates on:
- How UKRI is supporting UK Participation in Horizon Europe
- Current perspectives on FP10
- Novelties in the 20262027 Work Programme
- Additional topics shaped directly by your input such as; Horizon Guarantee, Preparing Applications, Pillars 1, 2 and 3 funding opportunities and much more.
When registering, please complete the accompanying survey to indicate the themes and areas you would like the agenda to address. The event is not restricted to any Horizon Europe topic or area and the feedback you provide will enable us to tailor the programme to reflect the challenges and priorities that matter most to you.
A full agenda and list of speakers will be circulated to registered participants closer to the event.
Who should attend?
The event is intended for (but not limited to); Research Managers, European Liaison Officers and any staff involved with Horizon Europe funding in broader research support functions that currently do, could or should engage with Horizon Europe.
You are welcome to share this invitation with colleagues who may benefit from attending. Please note we have a limited capacity for in-person attendance, so please consider coordinating within your team before registering.
Technical specifications
The event will take place at the University of Leeds. Refreshments will be provided throughout the day. To help minimise waste and support our sustainability goals, we kindly encourage all participant’s to bring a reusable container should there be any leftover food.
In person attendance is capped at 100 participants, with places allocated on a first-come first served basis.
