The Commission will hold its next webinar dedicated to the mandatory roll-out of two-factor authentication(2FA) in the context of the Funding & Tenders Portal on Wednesday 13 May.
In preparation for the event, the Commission has prepared a useful infographic, which serves as a 2FA troubleshooting guide. This concise visual resource addresses the most common queries, covering eight key points, including:
- What to do if you lose your device
- Using personal devices for 2FA
- Resolving common registration errors (like Error 5305)
- What to do if you forget your security questions
Aim of the event
Over the course of this year, securing access to EU Login accounts on the Funding & Tenders Portal via two-factor authentication will become mandatory. This implementation will be progressive and affected users will be notified individually in due time.
To help users prepare for this change, the Commission will provide an update on the roll-out plans during this dedicated webinar. It will also be an opportunity for the participants to ask questions via Slido.
