Information event: MSCA Innovative Training Networks (ITN) 2019 Call (London)

Horizon 2020 offers exciting opportunities for academia and industry collaboration through European and international partnerships. These include Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions schemes which are completely 'bottom-up', in that organisations can initiate research on topics of their own choice.

The UK Research Office, in its capacity as UK National Contact Point for the Horizon 2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions, is holding an information event on the 2019 MSCA Innovative Training Networks (ITN) call for proposals which will open on the 13th September 2018, with the deadline on 15 January 2019.

Aim of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Innovative Training Networks

The ITN scheme supports joint research training and/or doctoral programmes, implemented by European partnerships of universities, research institutions, industry (incl. SMEs) and other non-academic organisations. The research training programmes are intended to provide doctoral students with excellent research skills, coupled with experience outside academia to develop their innovative capacities and employment prospects.

Aim of the event

The event aim to provide participants with an in-depth overview of the ITN scheme. Participants should gain a clear understanding of the proposal format for each scheme and the key issues relating to planning, writing and submitting proposals. There will also be ample opportunity to ask questions. The event will be run by one of our UKRO representative with contributions from successful applicants and/or evaluators.

Programme and slides

The event will take place at Woburn House Conference Centre in London on Wednesday, 10 October 2018. It will start at 13:00 and finish by 17:00 (with registration from 12:30). Please note that refreshments will be available at the event, but lunch will not be provided.
