ERC 2022 Starting Grant: Call Information Webinar 2 of 2 (30 September)
The call is tentatively set to open on 23 September 2021 with a deadline of 13 January 2022. These webinars replace the NCP information events which usually take place in the UK.

Aim of the Webinar
The webinar will provide participants with a detailed practical overview of the European Research Council (ERC) Starting Grant scheme. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the proposal format and the key issues they are required to address in planning, writing and costing a proposal. The evaluation procedure and how to approach writing an application will also be explained.
Who should attend?
The sessions ware aimed at researchers based in, or moving to, the UK who are planning to submit a proposal to the 2022 ERC Starting Grant call, and the research support staff who will be supporting these applications. Applicants are expected to be active researchers and to have a track record of excellent research.
Webinar 2: Thursday 30 September 2021 (10:00 – 12:00 UK time) - provides information on the submission process, how proposals are evaluated and other elements to consider when designing a project for your big research idea.
There will be ample opportunity to ask questions during the webinars.
Attendance will be free of charge, but registration for each webinar is required.
Please note that this webinar is part one of a two-part series of information webinars on the 2022 Starting Grant call. You will also need to register for the first webinar on Tuesday 28 September (10:00 – 12:00 UK time).
This webinar will be delivered using the 'Zoom' online conference facility. No prior purchasing of software is necessary, but prior registration is mandatory. Please note that there will be scope to test the Zoom software prior to joining the webinar itself.
