MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships 2021 Call Information Webinar Series - Session 2: Practical Matters

The UK Research Office (UKRO), in its capacity as UK National Contact Point for the Horizon Europe 2021 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA), is holding a series of information webinars for organisations and individuals interested in applying to the 2021 MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships Call (proposed call open 18 May 2021 with a proposed call deadline 15 September 2021).

Aim of the webinars

The webinar series aim to provide participants with comprehensive overview of the scheme, including the budget, how to develop your proposal, the submission process, and tips on how to address the evaluation criteria.

Postdoctoral Fellowships under MSCA

Postdoctoral Fellowships help experienced researchers advance their careers and gain new skills through training, international, intersectoral and international mobility. 

Postdoctoral Fellowships (previously call Individual Fellowships) are aimed at researchers who are already in possession of a doctoral degree and at the call deadline have a maximum of 8 years full-time equivalent research experience. Career breaks, working outside research, research outside of EU (for reintegrating researchers) are not taken into account.

Who should attend?

The webinars are aimed at researchers and other staff in UK academic and non-academic organisations, including industries and SMEs, who are interested in the 2021 Postdoctoral Fellowship Call. It is also intended for researchers from across Europe and beyond who wish to engage with the call and who intend to apply with a UK host institution.

Session 2 Programme and Registration

The webinar will be held on 29 April 2021 10:00-11:30 UK Time. Attendance is free of charge, but registration is mandatory. Upon registering, a confirmation email will be sent with joining instructions.

Technical Specifications

This webinar will be delivered using the 'Zoom' online conference facility. No prior purchasing of software is necessary, but prior registration is mandatory. Please note that there will be scope to test the Zoom software prior to joining the webinar itself.
