Information event: ERC 2019 Consolidator Grants (Edinburgh)

In its capacity as the UK ERC National Contact Point, UKRO is holding an information event for researchers interested in applying for the European Research Council 2019 Consolidator Grants. The events will take place on Friday 23 November in Edinburgh, hosted by the University of Edinburgh.

Attendance will be free of charge, but registration is required. Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Aim of the Session

The presentation will provide participants with a practical overview of the ERC funding programme, giving a deeper understanding of the proposal format for the Consolidator Grant call and the key issues they are required to address in planning, writing and costing a proposal.

Who should attend?

The session is aimed at researchers based in, or moving to, the UK who are planning to submit a proposal to the 2019 ERC Consolidator Grant call. The 2019 Consolidator Grant opened on 24 October and will close on 7 February 2019. Research office staff who are new to supporting ERC grants or want to refresh their knowledge may also wish to attend.

The event will start at 13.30 (with registration from 13.00) and last until 17.00.  A final, more detailed agenda for the session will be circulated a week in advance to those who have registered.
