Travelling to UKRO from Brussels Airport (Zaventem)
Taxis

Metered taxicabs are available immediately outside the arrivals hall. Ask for Rue du Trône, 4. The fare between the airport and the centre of Brussels is normally around €40. A return taxi trip from the airport to UKRO will cost about €60 with Autolux taxis.

Train

One of the cheapest ways into Brussels from Zaventem airport is by train. The train station is located in the basement (level -1) of the terminal building itself. Buy a ticket ( €5.20 second class, €6.80 first class) for the Airport City Express train to the Central Station (Gare Centrale). Trains leave about every 15 minutes and the journey takes less than 20 minutes.

Timetable information for the Airport City Express is available on the Belgian Railways (SNCB/NMBS) website; enter Zaventem Airport as the departure or destination station.

Bus from the airport

To get the number 12 bus (Brussels City Express), from the airport, leave the arrivals hall by the right hand door and go down the escalators towards the (ground floor) car park. Go outside through the automatic doors and turn right, the bus stop is situated 25 yards away where the roof of the car park ends. There is usually one bus every half hour and a ticket will cost you €3 if bought from machine and €5 if bought on board (valid for 1 hour on the entire MIVB/SNCB network)  the journey should take around twenty minutes. Get off at the Schuman stop, this is very close to a roundabout and the European Commission building, from here take the metro line 1 (direction Gare de l'Ouest/Weststation) or line 5 (direction Erasme/Erasmus) to Arts-Loi/Kunst-Wet.

Then change metro and take line 2 direction Simonis (Leopold II) or line 6 direction Roi Baudouin/Koning Boudewijn for one stop and get off at "TRÔNE". Use the exit "Luxembourg", cross the street and then take the first on your left for Rue du Trône, 4. Please see the map (.pdf) for more details.
