Schemes for Organisations: Results
Results notification procedure
Results are generally published in two stages. The first results available are in the form of a 'Threshold List', which indicates which proposals met the funding thresholds as defined within the assessment criteria. Meeting the thresholds does not mean that a proposal will necessarily be successful. At around this time, Evaluation Summary Reports will be sent to applicants, giving marks under each criteria and feedback from assessors - again, this will provide an individual mark and confirm whether or not the proposal has met the thresholds, but will not indicate whether a proposal meeting the thresholds will ultimately be recommended for funding.
During the subsequent weeks, a second results list giving 'Preliminary Results' is published, in which application is given one of four statuses: A - Proposal recommended for funding; B- Proposal on the reserve list'; C - Proposals above thresholds but not retained for funding nor on the reserve list because of lack of budgetary resources; or D - Proposals failing one or more thresholds. Lead applicants on proposals given a status of 'A' will then start to receive invitations to negotiation. The Preliminary Results list is updated over the following months to reflect the changing status of applications on the reserve list.
