Marie Curie Actions - Schemes for Individuals
Individual researchers can apply, with a host institution, for the Marie Curie actions described below. These actions are for experienced researchers with at least four years research experience or a PhD. To be eligible applicants should not have been in the host country for more than 12 months in the previous three years.
Intra-European Fellowship (IEF) for Career Development
- For researchers to move from one EU or FP7 associated country to another
- Have a duration of 1-2 years
- Any nationality can apply
International Outgoing Fellowship (IOF)
- For researchers to move from the EU or an FP7 associated country to a country that is not in the EU or associated to FP7
- Have a duration of 1-2 years followed by a mandatory return to a European host of one year
- EU and FP7 associated country nationals can apply, along with those who have been resident in an EU or AC for five years preceding the call deadline.
International Incoming Fellowship (IIF)
- For researchers based outside Europe to work in an EU Member State or country associated to FP7
- Have a duration of 1-2 years followed by an optional return phase of one year for those from low to middle income home countries
- Any nationality can apply
Career Integration Grants (CIG)
- For researchers looking to establish themselves in a research career in Europe
