The UK National Contact Point (NCP) for the European Research Council (ERC) assists applicants and grant holders from the UK, or those intending to move to the UK, by providing advice on the ERC and its grant schemes.

The UK ERC NCP is run by the UK Research Office (UKRO). UKRO’s mission is to promote effective UK engagement in EU research, innovation and higher education activities.

- Central ERC Helpdesk
The Central ERC helpdesk is a general information service to provide feedback on any enquiry related to ERC funding activities. Please note that we would recommend contacting our UK ERC helpdesk instead in the first instance.
- Electronic Proposal Submission Service (EPSS) Helpdesk
The EPSS helpdesk provides technical support and advice related to the use of the web-based EPSS (only). The helpdesk can be contacted by email or phone.
- Moving to the UK?
The UK Euraxess Service Centre is the portal for researchers moving to or from the UK, with advice including visas, work permits, salaries and taxation, pension rights, health care, social security, accommodation, recognition of qualifications, day care and schooling, language courses, and social and cultural issues.
- EU Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Helpdesk
The EU IPR Helpdesk provides free help on IPR issues related to EU proposals and grants.
